Responsibilities include: * Inspects agricultural establishments and growing areas for pests, diseases, and other problems. * Collects samples of plants, soils, and other materials for laboratory analysis. * Assists with the implementation of pest and disease control programs. * Maintains records and prepares reports related to inspections and other activities. * Operates and maintains equipment used in the performance of duties. * Provides information and assistance to growers and other stakeholders. * Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Knowledge of agricultural practices and principles. * Knowledge of pests and diseases affecting agricultural crops. * Ability to collect and analyze data. * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to use computers and related software. Minimum Qualifications: * A high school diploma or G.E.D. * Valid Florida Driver's License. * One year of experience in agricultural work. Salary: $16.00 per hour Application Deadline: Until Filled
