UW Medicine has launched a statewide 24/7 mental health hotline for Washington youth amid a surge in teen crises in schools. The service connects callers to trained counselors, building on national resources like 988 to tackle rising suicide ideation and emotional distress. Initially reported by KIRO 7 News, the hotline aims to provide immediate, confidential support across the state.
