"The Board of Adjustments and Appeals of the City of Ormond Beach, Florida, pursuant to the City's Land Development Code, will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the City Commission Chambers at the Ormond Beach City Hall, 22 South Beach Street, Ormond Beach, Florida, for the purpose of hearing all parties in interest and to consider and act upon the application of Wayne and Marissa Smith, property owners of 19 Dormer Drive, for two variances related to the construction of a hard-roof open-patio on the rear of the property. The property at 19 Dormer Drive is in the SR, Suburban Residential zoning district and within the Deer Creek, Phase 1, of Hunters Ridge Subdivision. Section 2-11(B)(9)(b) of the Land Development Code requires a rear yard setback of 20'. The subdivision plat requires a side yard setback of 10'.
