THIS WEEK’S PROGRAMMING GrandMastersRx Athletes, It’s the end of March…end of the first quarter and time is flying! This is our last solid week in March and we have Sandy advancing to Quarterfinals for the CF Games at the end of this week. Starting Thursday the 26th we’ll receive the workouts and have until Monday to do them. We do not yet have an arrangement with where or how we’ll do them, but stay tuned. We’ll make announcements in class. After Quarterfinals, we expect her to advance to Semifinals, which are May 7 – 11. With this schedule of events, we are trying to plan a few things that will need the cooperation of the gym. Ed and Sam will be away from the gym Thursday 4/16 and Friday 4/17. The gym will operate with Cardio class on Thursday run by the coaches who train in that class. Friday will be coached by your amazing coaches who’ve agreed to pull together and take care of business while we’re gone (many thanks to all of them!). Ed and I ask that you behave, pocket your unique snowflake card and be good athletes while we’re gone! Continuing the struggles of small business ownership, after Semifinals in May, Ed and Sam have a continuing education conference in Miami the on 5/29. 30 and 31 (F/S/S) returning on Monday due to the later education tracks on Sunday. This is the weekend AFTER Memorial Day. To make it easier on the coaches, we’re going to be OPEN Memorial Day (of course Ed and I will be your primary coaches as it IS a holiday and our coaches may want the day off), but we will move the holiday closure to Friday to accommodate the continuing education trip. We’ll remind everyone as time nears. Then, if we can cover the Monday following (6/1) we will be open, and if not, we’ll offer a proration and close that Monday, returning to normal operations on Tuesday the 2nd of June. Finally, July. Should Sandy make the 2026 CF Games AGAIN!, we will close the gym that week and prorate memberships. She competes on Monday 7/ 20 through Thursday 7/23. It is in California this year so with travel and time changes, we’re not going to rush back to be open one day. Again, we’ll communicate more out as we get nearer July.  Just wanted to give you all an advance heads up.
