Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Madison, AL & Lincoln, TN until 7:45 PM CDT

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Northern Madison County, AL and Southeastern Lincoln County, TN until 7:45 PM CDT tonight, September 21, with hazards of 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Northern Madison County in Alabama and Southeastern Lincoln County in Middle Tennessee, effective immediately until 7:45 PM CDT tonight, September 21.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama reports a severe thunderstorm located near Ardmore, approximately 11 miles northwest of Meridianville, moving east at 15 mph. This storm carries a hazard of 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail, as indicated by radar. Hail damage to vehicles is expected, and wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees is possible.

Areas expected to be impacted include Huntsville, Moores Mill, Meridianville, Hazel Green, Alabama A And M University, University Of Alabama In Huntsville, Harvest, New Market, Lincoln, and Plevna.

For your protection, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building immediately.
