Island Pacific Academy Names Jacqueline Arvman Navigator Award Winner

Island Pacific Academy honored its Class of 2026 and outstanding secondary students at its annual awards ceremony on May 7 in the Gulab & Indru Watumull Room.
Jacqueline Arvman received the Navigator Award, the school's highest honor for students who exemplify strength of character, commitment to excellence, and engagement in campus and community.
Danielle Okimoto earned valedictorian honors for the Class of 2026, while Kamiya-Lee Luchetti was named salutatorian. Mufi Hannemann, president and CEO of the Hawaiʻi Lodging and Tourism Association and former Honolulu mayor, presented the Harvard Book Award to junior Jaron Alarcon.
Additional honorees included Leianna Babas, who received the Head of School Award; Thayleah Hall, who earned the Hoʻoilina Award for promoting Hawaiian culture; and sophomore Mikaela Mullen, who received the Stargazer Award.
Other recipients: Caitlyn Bedford, Global Citizen Award; Braxtyn Montalbo and Zoe Murata, Outstanding Contribution to IPA Culture & Arts; Adelynne Banquil and Lowell Chappell, Leadership Awards; Ocean Hayes and Jaron Alarcon, Academic Achievement Awards; and Aiden Tan, Student Life Award.
Secondary faculty nominated and selected recipients based on criteria for each award.
