The Dense Fog Advisory issued for several Western Washington areas is set to expire today, October 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM PDT. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Seattle reports that while isolated pockets of fog with visibility under a quarter mile may persist through noon, conditions are steadily improving.

Affected areas include the Foothills and Valleys of the North Cascades; Lowlands of Western Whatcom County; Lowlands of Western Skagit and Northwestern Snohomish Counties; Downtown Everett / Marysville Area; Shoreline / Lynnwood / South Everett Area; Lowlands of Lewis and Southern Thurston Counties; and Island County.

The NWS Seattle issued this advisory at 10:51 AM PDT, confirming its expiration will occur as conditions continue to clear.
