Woodworking for Kids

Students will learn about different species of wood, how to drive a nail, measure things with different tools, use a drill, prepare wood for painting and finishing, and many other tool uses. Everything is hands-on learning. Safety is emphasized. Students will receive a wooden box that they'll sand, clean, and either paint or stain. A supply fee of $10 is due to the instructor at the beginning of the class.
