Tree Planting with Muskegon Conservation District

About this Event
Help Support Our Native Forests!
Did you know a single mature tree can provide habitat for wildlife, help prevent soil erosion, improve air quality, and capture thousands of gallons of stormwater throughout its lifetime? By planting native trees, volunteers help restore natural ecosystems, increase biodiversity, and create healthier habitats for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife.
Join Muskegon County Parks and the Muskegon Conservation District as we work together to enhance and restore native habitat at Dune Harbor Park. Volunteers will help plant a variety of native tree species in designated restoration areas, contributing to the long-term health and resilience of the park's natural landscape.
