Teach your child the beginning skills of yoga and mindfulness while having a great time nurturing your connection with your child and meeting other parents. Miss Jana, a certified Baby & Toddler Yoga teacher with a master’s in education, artfully uses music, movement, stories, and play to develop body spatial awareness, motor skills, and linguistic expression. Participation in toddler yoga also encourages curiosity, independence, and social relationships. Children will engage in singing, dancing, fun play with props (parachutes, tunnels, puppets, bubbles, etc.), sensory play, and story time. Yoga for adults is infused throughout the class; however, bonding with little ones and other class participants is the focus of this class. Please bring a yoga mat and water.
