She is a Professor of History at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth and a Senior Fellow at Southern Methodist University's Center for Presidential History and previously served as Director of Education and Public Programs at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. Dr. Conrad holds a Ph.D. in Humanities from The University of Texas at Dallas, along with degrees from Penn State University and Howard University. An award-winning author and educator, her work has been supported by major research fellowships, and she remains active in the field through teaching, publishing, and professional service.
