The Dr. Daniel Strauss Memorial Backpack Event - August 8th, 2026 @ England Brothers Park (5010 Dave McKay Way, Pinellas Park, FL 33781) 9am - 12pm continues that impact by equipping students with quality backpacks, name-brand school supplies, community resources, and the dignity of starting school prepared and confident. Rooted in Dr. Dan's legacy of compassion, education, service, and love for children, this event honors his belief that every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and never picked on for not having the proper resources. Together, these events bring education, the arts, community service, and civic engagement into one powerful experience supporting teachers, empowering students, strengthening families, inspiring creativity, and honoring Dr. Daniel Strauss through meaningful action.
