Back for its 38th year, the Art on the Commons Fine Arts and Crafts Festival features approximately one hundred artists from around the country. Located in a scenic park within the vibrant Dayton area, the festival's live music and top notch artists make Art on the Commons a destination for several thousand art lovers every year. Art on the Commons is organized by Rosewood Arts Center, a division of the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts department of the City of Kettering. Enjoy the best in local music, curated by Juliet Fromholt, WYSO Music Director and host of Alpha Rhythms and Kaleidoscope. Whether you find a shady bench, stretch out on the grass, or bring your own lawn chair, settle in for a day of live performances from some of Southwest Ohio's most talented musicians. Relax and refuel with delicious food, snacks and treats from a variety of local favorites. Art on the Commons is co-sponsored by the City of Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts, the Ohio Arts Council, and the Kettering Arts Council.
