This retreat will feature sessions on song writing fundamentals that includes writing exercises, and task writing. There will be time for private one-on-one sessions throughout the weekend. The workshop is designed for songwriters of all levels, but will be particularly helpful for those who have written songs and need some help perfecting their craft. Participants do not need to play an instrument, but a piano will be available and everyone is encouraged to bring a guitar. Workshops during this retreat will be by ASCAP songwriter Jim Ritchey and Grammy Award winning songwriter Laurelyn Dossett.
