Whether they're babysitting, watching younger siblings, or staying home alone, students will learn essential safety, first aid, and childcare skills in a fun, engaging format. Led by certified instructors, each workshop includes hands-on activities, role-playing, and interactive games that cover: Safety Skills: Handling emergencies like power outages, weather threats, and more Child Care Skills: Understanding child development, behavior tips, and diapering First Aid & Rescue Skills: Basic first aid, CPR, and choking rescue techniques Life & Business Skills: How to find jobs, set rates, and communicate with employers Safe Sitter® graduates leave with the confidence and knowledge to care for others--and many have even used their training to respond in real emergencies.
