Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.   PUBLIC HEARING – FY 2026/2027 BUDGET Be further advised that, as authorized by N.C.G.S. 159-12(b), the Avery County Board of Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on the proposed FY 2026/2027 Budget for Avery County. This Hearing will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Avery Community Center, 661 Vale Rd., Newland, NC. The public is invited to attend and comment.
