IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE HAGAR TOWNSHIP CLERK’S OFFICE:To the qualified electors of Hagar Township, Berrien County, Michigan. The Hagar Township Election Commission, in preparation for the Tuesday May 5, 2026 election, will meet to the Public Accuracy Test of Voting Equipment at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday April 15, 2026 at:

The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast on election day meets the requirements of Michigan Election Law. The process of manually testing one tabulator and one Voter Assist Terminal (touchscreen voting system) will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The public is encouraged to attend.
This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, (MCL 41.72a(2)(3)) and the Americans With Disabilities Act.
The Hagar Township Board will provide necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services (such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being used during the meeting to individuals with disabilities who wish to attend the meeting with at least two days' notice to the Hagar Township Clerk.
