Professional Development: Open Enrollment for FSA

Open Season for Flexible Spending Account (FSA) enrollment takes place annually--typically from mid-November to mid-December--alongside the Federal Benefits Open Season. This session is your opportunity to learn about your benefit options and make informed decisions for the upcoming year. During this briefing, you'll learn how FSAs work, how they can impact your taxable income, and which healthcare benefits may best support you and your family. A TRICARE representative will also be available to explain the differences between Prime and Select and answer questions. Key reminders: Enrollment is completed through FSAFEDS and is completely voluntary Employees must enroll each year; participation does not automatically carry over Elections made during Open Season apply to the following benefit period Changes to elections and allotment amounts may be made anytime during Open Season Don't miss this chance to get clarity on your benefits and plan with confidence.
