From the Lyme Fire Company: “Conditions look right for the rescheduled controlled burn in Nehantic State Park starting today around 10:00am this morning. Prescribed burns (controlled burns) improve forest health and safety by reducing hazardous fuel loads, lowering intense wildfire risks, and managing invasive species. Updates will be posted.”
