Open House for 167th Street Improvement Project

The City of Gardner invites residents and community members to attend an informational public open house for the 167th Street Improvement Project.
The come-and-go event will be held Tuesday, March 24, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Gardner City Hall, 120 E. Main St. There will be no formal presentation; attendees are welcome to stop by at any time during the event to review project plans, ask questions and share feedback directly with the project team.
The 167th Street Improvement Project will focus on enhancements along 167th Street between Center Street and Moonlight Road. Construction is currently anticipated to begin in 2027.
Planned improvements include:
A widened two-lane, median-divided roadway
Dedicated left-turn lanes
Sidewalks and trails
Bike lanes
The project is designed to improve traffic flow, enhance safety and provide expanded pedestrian and bicycle accommodations in the area.
