The Orange County Transportation Authority is beginning work on a slope rehabilitation project along the Metrolink railroad tracks at three locations in Lake Forest. This project is designed to maintain the safety and stability of the rail corridor. Construction will take place Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., with work occurring in phases across three designated areas. Areas 1 and 2 are expected to begin the week of April 13 and continue for approximately four weeks. Area 3 is scheduled to begin the week of April 27 and will last about six weeks. As part of the project, Ridge Route Drive beneath the railroad tracks will be temporarily closed during construction activities in Area 2.
