New Play Staged Reading: Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Speckled Band
About this Event
Join us for a special staged reading of Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Speckled Band, a new full-length adaptation by Michael Hebler based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic mystery.
Admission is free. However, due to limited seating, RSVPs are strongly encouraged to guarantee entry.
When Helen Stoner arrives at 221B Baker Street seeking help, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are drawn into a chilling investigation involving a suspicious death, a crumbling country estate, and an ominous threat that may be man, beast, or something else entirely. As clues emerge and tensions rise, Holmes must unravel one of his most baffling cases before history repeats itself.
Presented as a staged reading, this developmental performance offers audiences a unique opportunity to experience a new theatrical work before its premiere production. With the focus placed entirely on the script and performances, attendees will play an important role in the creative process, helping shape the future of the play through their reactions and feedback.
