Men's Dinner and Speaker

Men's Group Dinner and Speaker Guest Speaker: Grace Resurrection's Own Dave Askeland Theme: God's Reminders -- 500 Miles West of Nowhere! October 21 at 6:00 p.m. After more than 45 years as a Methodist, Dave Askeland has regularly read Scripture--but admits he's memorized far less of it than he probably should have. His perspective changed during an unexpected adventure: delivering a 53-foot sailboat from Turkey to Boston. What began as an intriguing challenge became a journey of faith, humility and discovery. Dave confides, As God will do, He not only humbled me in my journey, but also opened my eyes and heart to more of God's power and wonder, all the while reminding me that the greatest book ever written points this out each day in scripture. Join us October 21 at 6:00 p.m. in Mickler Hall as Dave shares how God used a remarkable journey 500 miles west of nowhere to remind him of His power, His presence and the enduring truths of Scripture.
