Last day to withdraw: Mini III

About this Event

Withdrawal Policy A student is responsible for knowing the policies, procedures, and deadlines related to withdrawing from courses or the College.  The student is encouraged to inquire with the Business Office and/or Financial Aid Office regarding the potential impact that withdrawing might have on their financial obligation to the College and financial aid eligibility. Withdrawal from a Course After the Add/Drop period, a student may request to withdraw from a course by submitting a Withdrawal Form and following proper withdrawal procedures as established by the Admissions & Records Office.  Course withdraw forms must be submitted by the last day to withdraw published in the academic calendar.  It is the student’s responsibility to complete the withdrawal process. A student who does not submit a completed withdrawal form will receive a grade of “F.” A grade of “W” will be assigned for the course when a student withdraws prior to the last day to withdraw published in the academic calendar. This grade will have no effect on the student’s GPA. A student receiving financial aid should consider the impact of their withdrawal on their financial aid status before withdrawing from a course. Withdrawal from College A student may initiate a complete withdrawal request at any time during the term by submitting a Withdrawal Form according to the instructions provided. The official withdrawal date will be the date the online form is submitted by the student.  It is the student’s responsibility to complete the withdrawal process. A student who does not submit a completed withdrawal form will receive a grade of “F” in all registered courses. A grade of “W” will be assigned as the final grade if a student withdraws prior to the last day to withdraw published in the academic calendar. Thereafter, the earned grade will be assigned. A student receiving financial aid should consider the impact of their withdrawal on their financial aid status before withdrawal from the College. Special Considerations Student Athletes and Health Sciences Students – The student must notify the appropriate department prior to withdrawing from any course. A Health Science student participating in clinical courses may receive a grade prior to the withdrawal date and, thereby, become ineligible for withdrawal. Administrative Withdrawal from a Course or the College The College may drop or withdraw a student from any course for the following reasons: Failure to complete admissions requirements if allowed to register on a conditional basis Failure to pay applicable tuition and fees Disciplinary action Misrepresentation of the required admissions information Failure to attend course(s)    Course cancellation
