The Kansas Highway Patrol and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on April 25, 2026. A sobriety checkpoint, intended to remove impaired drivers, will be set up in Cherokee County. “Removing an impaired driver from the road today means that a family gets home safely tomorrow,” said Master Trooper Dakota Smith.”
