Loosely based on Puccinis Opera La Boheme, Rent tackles the timeless themes of love and loss, while addressing the HIV/AIDS crisis that ravaged the U.S. and global community. Considered a landmark in LGBTQ theater, Rent also celebrates community, individual voice, chosen family, and La Vie Boheme.
