NAMI Delaware is excited to share an upcoming community Speaker Series focused on the connection between nutrition, wellness, and mental health. This engaging event will bring together local experts and community partners to explore how healthy eating habits can support overall well-being, recovery, and mental wellness. Attendees can expect educational presentations, practical resources, and opportunities to connect with organizations serving our community. Come join us on July 29th at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Newark. A light lunch will be provided at the start of the event. Presentations by: NAMI Delaware on the connection between nutrition, wellness, mental health, and community support. Kevin Clay Brown, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, shares a clinical perspective on how nutrition influences mental health and overall wellness. Impact Life and Recovery Café, discussing whole-person wellness, recovery supports, nutrition services, and practical strategies for healthy living. Lutheran Community Services and ChristianaCare's Food Farmacy Program, highlighting food access, medically tailored groceries, wraparound supports, and community resources available throughout Delaware.
