Homeschool Hours | Portraiture + Identity

Homeschool groups and families are invited to join the MFA as we explore culture, history, math, and the science of art alongside exhibitions in our permanent collection. Create a mixed media self-portrait that reflects your identity, interests, and experiences--not just your appearance. Then, use the in-gallery activity guide to explore the stories of people represented throughout the museum's galleries. Instruction and activities are designed for students ages 5-14. Family members and caregivers should be in attendance with students. Homeschool Hours occur the second Wednesday of each month. Wed, Dec 9, 10 AM - 12 PM FREE for MFA Members Included with the cost of admission for Not-Yet Members Registration required REGISTER FOR HOMESCHOOL HOURS Not yet a member?
