At the end of this presentation, participants should have increased information to:
Distinguish positional authority from earned legitimacy and status.Describe how self-determination theory can be utilized to build trust and motivation within clinical and research teams.Discuss how pre/debriefing strengthens and reinforces psychological safety within teams.Faculty Development Series are designed for current clinical faculty; other select faculty involved in education and teaching residents and open to other physicians with an interest in the program being presented.
