Join us for an interactive conversation with Dr. Jean Grassman, associate professor in the department of Environmental, Occupational, and Geospatial Health Sciences and doctoral program director. Dr. Grassman's teaching and research focus on occupational and environmental health, toxicology, and biological monitoring, with more than 25 years of experience studying chemical exposures and their impact on vulnerable populations around the world. Her work spans laboratory research, international field studies, workplace health and safety, environmental justice, and public health policy, and she serves on the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) Biological Exposure Indices committee, helping develop guidelines for protecting workers from hazardous exposures. This informal session offers students and alumni the opportunity to ask questions, learn about her career journey and research, and connect in a relaxed, conversational setting.
