McNear will be joined by James Brayton Hall, President and CEO of the Garden Conservancy, for a discussion exploring the celebrated photographer Edward Steichen's lifelong passion for gardening and plant hybridizing--and the fascinating connections between his horticultural pursuits and artistic practice. Richly illustrated, the book reveals how creativity, experimentation, and a quest for beauty shaped Steichen's work in both the studio and the garden.
