The City of Alpine would like to inform the public that the City Landfill will be closed on Thursday,  May 21, 2026 , due to recent inclement weather. Ongoing rainfall has created operational challenges that have impacted the safe and effective use of heavy equipment on-site. An update will be provided as soon as more information is available.
