She has overseen more than 100 federal, state, and local elections, ensuring that the democratic process in Rockford remains fair, transparent, and efficient. Chris’s work has extended far beyond the ballot box. She has attended thousands of public meetings, faithfully documenting decisions, facilitating open government, and serving as a trusted resource for both officials and residents. Notably, she stepped in as interim co-City Manager following the unexpected passing of former City Manager Michael Young, helping to provide stability and continuity for the community during a challenging time.
