Beech Street Transit Transfer Station Closed May 19th
Wyoming Reads celebration relocates transfer station to Durbin Street
Casper, Wyoming (May 5, 2026) – On Tuesday, May 19, the Casper Area Transit Transfer Station will be relocated to Durbin Street between the Rails to Trails and Second Street, on the east side of the street. The Beech Street Transfer Plaza will be closed all day and will reopen on Wednesday, May 20.
The temporary relocation is due to the closure of Beech Street from Collins to Second Street for the annual Wyoming Reads Celebration. Hours of operation and service areas for the Fixed Route (the Link), and Dial-A-Ride Service, (ASSIST) will remain the same.
Library patrons are asked to please not block the Durbin Street entrance to the library so that school buses can enter from that side. Also, to help patrons return library materials, a temporary book drop will be placed at the Durbin Street entrance.
Riders may call the following phone numbers for service or assistance:
Fixed Route (Casper Area Link) – 235-8287
Dial-A-Ride Service (ASSIST) – 235-8273
