Artist Talk: Soli Pierce

Artist Talk: Soli Pierce

About this Event

The Gallery at Yellow Studio presents an artist talk with Soli Pierce on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 3pm, the closing day of Traces of the Infinite, a small group exhibition featuring the work of Helena Palazzi, Soli Pierce, and Lara Saget, on view through October 18, 2026. Pierce builds her work from the materials of the natural world, stone, wood, and metal, treating found and raw matter as a starting point rather than a finished thing. Her practice sits within an exhibition that brings together three artists who share an interest in a rawness of material and form, and a refusal to treat separation as final, exploring what lies beneath the visible surface of a work and the moments when the boundaries we take for granted begin to give way. Join us in The Gallery at Yellow Studio for this closing day conversation with the artist. You can preview and purchase artwork from this exhibition here. In the Collections dropdown menu, please select Traces of the Infinite. About Soli Pierce Soli Pierce is an interdisciplinary artist whose work spans sculpture, encaustic painting, photography, installation, and sound. Her practice explores how light, material, and atmosphere shape perception, memory, and inward reflection. She is known for her immersive sculptural environments and encaustic paintings that incorporate organic matter and recurring circular motifs. Her work has been the subject of recent solo exhibitions at KinoSaito Arts Center, ArtsWestchester Gallery, Hammond Museum, and BAU Gallery, with a 2025 artist-in-residence at KinoSaito and Jentel, and a 2026 artist-in-residence at Tongue River. Pierce has received grants from ArtsWestchester and NYSCA, and her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Village Voice, and Ars Electronica.
