Event by Clinton Methodist Church and The Back Room 601 S 4th St, Clinton, MO Students who have completed kindergarten through graduating seniors 2025 to try out for one of the 50 parts in the musical play "The Emperor's New Clothes!" This is being presented by Missoula (Montana) Children's Theatre with no cost for the student to participate. No advanced preparation is required, just show up with a smile! Remember, this is an audition and there is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Auditions will be held on Monday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Clinton Methodist Church gym.Auditions begin promptly at 10 a.m. All students auditioning must stay the entire two hours. Students chosen for parts should be prepared to be present all week from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for rehearsals. The play will be presented on Saturday, July 25, at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Clinton High School Performing Arts Center. Admission to the performance will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
