Two Eureka Men Arrested in Construction Site Robbery
Eureka police arrested Sandro Ramirez-Uribe, 46, and Moises Bandabalmaceda, 33, on May 5 after they stole tools from a construction site near Grotto and E Street and assaulted an employee who confronted them.
Officers responded at 2:40 p.m. to a strong-arm robbery report. The victim told police that one suspect struck him in the face when he confronted them. Both men fled westbound on Grotto Street on bicycles.
Officers found Ramirez-Uribe nearby and the victim identified him. Police located Bandabalmaceda hiding under a shed in his backyard and arrested him without incident.
