Armed Robbery at F Street Business in Eureka

Eureka police are searching for a man who robbed a business in the 3500 block of F Street on Thursday morning and brandished a knife when an employee confronted him.

Officers responded at approximately 11:45 a.m. on April 24. The suspect took several items and fled south on F Street toward Grant Elementary School. Police lost sight of him in that direction.

The School Resource Officer placed Grant Elementary on lockdown while officers searched the campus. Police found no sign of the suspect and lifted the lockdown at 12:15 p.m.

Police describe the suspect as a man approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, last seen wearing a dark green jacket, green sweatpants, black shoes and white headphones.
