The University of West Florida’s Division of Finance and Administration provides essential internal services to support the institution’s daily operations and work environment.

Vice President Daniel Lucas leads the division, which includes six departments. These departments partner with the university community to supply the foundation for operations, guided by a strategic planning framework, infrastructure, and a high-performance workforce.

Key personnel include Jeffery Djerlek, senior associate VP and controller; Angela Wallace, division budget director; and Cass Boatwright, assistant VP and chief operating officer. They oversee critical functions with Vice President Lucas.

The division’s responsibilities span Budgets, Business and Auxiliary Services, Facilities and Operations, Emergency Management, Environmental Health and Safety, the Controller’s Office, Procurement and Contracts, and the UWF Police Department. It also oversees UWF Business Enterprises, Inc., a direct support organization.

The university is an official Storm Ready University, with plans to protect its community, minimize facility damage, and expedite recovery. Chris Hinnant directs emergency management efforts.
