NOTICE OF CITY OF LAKE WALES INTENT TO ENACT ORDINANCE 2024-30
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales, Florida, intends to enact Ordinance 2024-30, which amends the City’s Land Development Regulations (LDRs) to revise Section 4.02.03, Accessory Uses. The proposed ordinance relates to the keeping of chickens and fowl as an accessory use in residential zoning districts.
A public hearing on Ordinance 2024-30 will be held before the City Commission on June 18, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, City Administration Building, 201 West Central Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida, 33853. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
The proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public at the City Clerk’s Office in the City Administration Building, 201 West Central Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida, 33853, during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The proposed ordinance is also available on the City’s website at www.cityoflakewales.com.
All persons are advised that, if they decide to appeal any decision made at the above-stated hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
