* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Alamance County in central North Carolina... Person County in central North Carolina... Orange County in central North Carolina... Northwestern Durham County in central North Carolina...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 625 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Burlington, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Durham, Burlington, Graham, Roxboro, Hillsborough, Mebane, Elon, Rougemont, Concord, and Gibsonville.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 163 and 174. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 140 and 162, and between Mile Markers 259 and 266. the Durham Freeway near Mile Marker 17.
