The National Weather Service in Pendleton, OR, has issued the watch effective from late Sunday evening, October 10, through Monday morning, October 11.
Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 29 degrees Fahrenheit are possible during this period. These conditions pose a significant risk to crops and other sensitive vegetation. Unprotected outdoor plumbing could also sustain damage.
