Presbyterian Minister Speaks at D&E College Baccalaureate 2026
Davis & Elkins College will host Reverend Dr. Scott Ramsey for its 2026 Baccalaureate Service on Friday, May 8 in Harper-McNeeley Auditorium. Ramsey serves as pastor at Lewinsville Presbyterian Church in Northern Virginia and will speak on servant leadership.
Ramsey holds a bachelor's degree in Religion from Princeton University, a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from the same institution. He has spoken at Robbins Memorial Chapel and worked with students from the Morrison-Novakovic Center for Faith & Public Policy. His church has hosted D&E students and faculty.
"Scott is a long-time friend of D&E," said Dr. Tanner Capps, Benfield-Vick Chaplain at Davis & Elkins. "This year's Baccalaureate promises to be a wonderful evening of worship and honoring an incredible class of graduates."
Ramsey lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife, Reverend Dr. Laura Cunningham, and two children.
