Bryant, North Little Rock claim 6A titles in Hot Springs

Bryant's boys basketball team won the Class 6A championship with a 58-50 victory over Central, claiming the state's most prestigious high school basketball title. On the girls side, North Little Rock defeated Springdale Har-Ber 46-40 to secure the 6A girls crown, continuing the intense rivalry between the state's largest programs.

The championship weekend in Hot Springs crowned winners across all classifications. In Class 5A, Little Rock Parkview's boys team defeated Marion 63-57, while Farmington's girls dominated Mountain Home 74-39. Little Rock Hall edged Little Rock Mills 59-54 in the 4A boys final, and Pulaski Academy won the 4A girls title over Pea Ridge 56-43.

Lower classifications also produced champions with compelling narratives. Osceola captured the 3A boys championship with a 55-51 victory over Newport, while Manila's girls won the 3A title 49-42 over McGehee. Barton dominated the 2A boys final with an 89-44 rout of Mount Vernon-Enola, and Quitman won the 2A girls crown 66-57 over Sloan-Hendrix. In Class 1A, Earle swept both championships—the boys defeated Clarendon 70-58, and the girls beat Greers Ferry West Side 73-52.

The AAA's weekend of championships showcased the depth of high school basketball across Arkansas, with teams from throughout the state converging on Hot Springs to compete for the ultimate prize.
