We are currently seeking applications for the following positions: **Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer** * **Job Description:** The Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer is responsible for enforcing local ordinances related to zoning, property maintenance, and public safety. This includes conducting property inspections, investigating complaints, issuing notices of violation, and testifying in court when necessary. The officer will work under the supervision of the Town Administrator. * **Qualifications:** High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or vocational training in a related field preferred. Must have knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and enforcement procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports. Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license. * **Hours:** Approximately 20 hours per week.
