Fitzpatrick Wins RBC Heritage Playoff Against Scheffler

Matt Fitzpatrick claimed victory over Scottie Scheffler in a playoff at the RBC Heritage on Sunday. Scheffler forced the playoff after recording a 67 in the final round.

Fitzpatrick secured the win on the first playoff hole. He executed an approach shot on the 18th green with a four-iron from 202 yards. This shot positioned him for the win, his second at the RBC Heritage.

Following regulation, Fitzpatrick made a bogey on the final hole. Scheffler's strong play over the concluding holes of the round led to the tie. Fitzpatrick noted his sustained performance through the challenge.
