HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS Being prepared BEFORE a significant event occurs is paramount to Public Safety. Whether you live in a single-family dwelling or a multi-unit structure, everyone can take steps to prepare for a storm and ensure the safety of their family and the community is front and center. We have preparedness brochures in English and Spanish that can be downloaded and used for your Hurricane Plan. ENGLISH SPANISH Senior Adult Check-In Program"RU OK" The goal of the department’s “RUOK?” program is to regularly connect with the most vulnerable populations to make sure they are doing well, are safe and help identify any needs they may have. There is no charge for the program, and it's available to any senior citizen over 65 years old or any disabled individual living alone.You can download the registration form and drop it off or mail it to the department.
