BCPS Students with Disabilities Prepare for Their Futures at HiREEE Job Fair on Saturday, March 28 Posted on February 26, 2020 （February 26, 2020 – Broward County, FL） – Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is committed to providing students with disabilities with the tools and resources they need to succeed in life. As part of this commitment, the District is hosting the HiREEE (High school Readiness through Employment Experiences and Education) Job Fair on Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at McFatter Technical College, 6500 Nova Drive, Davie, FL 33317. The HiREEE Job Fair is an opportunity for students with disabilities to connect with potential employers and explore different career paths. The fair will feature a variety of employers from different industries, as well as workshops and information sessions on topics such as resume writing, interviewing skills, and job search strategies. This event is made possible through the generous support of our community partners: Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, CareerSource Broward, and the Broward Workforce Development Board. “We are excited to host the HiREEE Job Fair and provide our students with disabilities with the opportunity to connect with potential employers and learn about different career paths,” said Lisa Kern, Director of Applied Learning. “We believe that all students deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we are committed to providing them with the support they need to succeed.” The HiREEE Job Fair is open to all BCPS students with disabilities, ages 16 – 22, and their families.
