Knicks Star Jalen Brunson Guest Stars on Law & Order: SVU

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson will make a guest appearance on the NBC drama series 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.'

The role on the show's upcoming 28th season stems from a humorous comment Brunson made after the Knicks secured their first championship in 53 years in June. When asked about his offseason plans, Brunson joked, "Try to get on SVU." The show's official Instagram account later confirmed the news.

Brunson is scheduled to appear in the Nov. 5 episode of 'Law & Order: SVU.' His specific role remains undisclosed.

This television appearance follows Brunson's involvement with 'SVU' star Mariska Hargitay, a noted Knicks supporter, in the opening segment of the 78th Emmy Awards, which Hargitay hosted. Additionally, Brunson is slated to host the season 52 premiere of 'Saturday Night Live' on Sept. 26.
