Actor and wrestler David Arquette will visit Jacksonville next Saturday, Oct. 10, for a special event at the Florida Theatre. The evening, titled “Behind the Scream: A Live Conversation with David Arquette,” will feature a 30th-anniversary screening of the horror film “Scream.”

Following the screening, Arquette, known for playing Dewey Riley in the “Scream” franchise, will participate in a live Q&A session. The event offers fans a chance to engage with the actor about the film’s legacy.

“I knew it was special, I knew it had a new take on horror movies and that’s something they hadn’t seen before,” Arquette said. “I knew it understood fandom in a way that other horror films didn’t, that it had rules of how to survive a horror movie, for instance, but I never knew it would be this popular this far along.” He added, “We meet people today who are like, ‘these are my grandkids who love the first movie,’ it’s incredible.”

Arquette also discussed his ventures into professional wrestling and his acquisition of the Bozo the Clown character rights. More details are available in the full interview on WOKV.com.

Tickets for “Behind the Scream: A Live Conversation with David Arquette” are on sale. More interviews featuring Arquette can be found in the Chase Chats section of WOKV.com or on podcast platforms.
